The Featured Ride of the Month (ROTM), showcases a Member's ride from our forum. We will have a short interview with the featured member and give a breif summary of thier vehicle. This should be updated monthly so that it will continuosly be fresh and give everyone a chance to show off thier ride!. For submission, please see the forums. [ 5.19.08 ] - We Are BACK!
Well it has been 3 whole years since we started this place from the ground up. We have lost a few of our friends but gained hundreds of new ones in return. The site is flourishing with multiple daily posts and visits, heated debates, and just all around fun for everyone who logs on. Our member base has grown almost triple in the past year, thanks for supporting us! Recently you may have noticed the board and then the site went down. That was due to some errors on our end which turned into a major PITA. We had some miscommunications with our host and with a software company that caused major confusion and ultimately caused a shutdown on our end. However, as it sits now OK-Speed is back online and here to stay-- this time for good. We are now fully licensed as an OWNED version of vBulletin, we are possibly considering porting to a new host, and have a few tricks up our sleeve for those who have made it hard for us along our way. We have just recently upgraded the board to the latest and greatest which houses a WHOLE BUNCH of new features. We are still working to get all of those new goodies up and going but just be patient, we will get there. Also we are currently working on a new layout and scheme for the site and board. We are working to get new moderators to help with some of our tasks, considering new forums or sub forums, and hopefully some future events. We are planning on hosting a charity car show in the coming months, an Ok-Speed Bar-B-Que, Poker Run, Scavenger Hunt, possibly a timed distance rally, and of course we are still going to have our normal house parties. So hang in there tuners, .net is coming back with a vengence.
