Future Plans:
¤ I hope to have the car reapinted in the next two years back to an original color (undecided on which one). Before I get that done, I would like to complete the restoration with the few miscellanious items that aren't done. These items include a steering wheel, radio, trap door for the fold down back seat, detailing the trunk are, and engine bay. I would like to keep the car as original as possible, so these items can be very expensive.

Short Interview:

-Give us a little background about yourself.
¤ I bought my first '69 fastback in Februauy of 2003 that some people may remember. It was Wimbledon White with white deluxe interior. After I put a lot of work into that car, I rolled it after avioding a deer. I searched for three years for the right car until I found this one in February of this year. I found the car on the internet, and went to Dallas to look at it. The following weekend, and friend and I drove down to pick it up (thanks Eric). When I got the car it was in overall good condition, but needed several things before it was driveable, and with some help of my good buddies in Superior Motorsports, we got it on the road in no time. Hopefully someday it will be a complete restoration.

-What got you interested in vehicles and how long ago was it?
¤ I've been a gearhead since I was old enough to know what a hot rod was. While I wouldn't consider this car fast, I've had several that were. After drooling over my dads '66 Mustang, and '68 GTO he owned when he was younger, I fell in love with the classics. I have respect for any car that is tastefully modded, but my heart sticks with the old ones. The first time I drove a classic car was my buddies '69 Camaro and I just loved the rigidness of no power steering, and the feel everytime I shifted gears.

-What got you into Fords and/or Mustangs? Do you prefer them over other companies?
¤ When I really started researching cars, I knew this was the car I wanted. To me, the body lines and stance of this car is what a muscle car should be. I don't necessarily prefer Fords over other companies as much as I prefer the '69 fastback over other cars. Someday I hope to have a 66-67 GTO as well as this car.

-What are your overall goals for your car?
¤ I would like to see the car completely restored, but I don't want a museum piece. I drive this car several times a week, and I plan on doing that until I die. I see no need in having a car in my garage that's so perfect your friends have to come over just to see it. I hope my daughter loves it as much as me so she can be my show partner when she gets old enough. Someday it will be hers.
